Weekly singing of simple (and increasingly sophisticated) 3- and 4-part harmonies. Big fun. As Brian Eno says: "I believe that singing is the key to long life, a good figure, a stable temperament, increased intelligence, new friends, super self-confidence, heightened sexual attractiveness and a better sense of humor." http://tinyurl.com/5wv9pl There are practice tracks and sheet music under More > Files. 1) Instant Chorus gets you singing a cappella music, hearing the rhythms and chords that form the underpinning of song, and singing cool rhythms in Bobby McFerrin style. Beat out body percussion while you sing, or skip that and simply hold your part. Expand your musicality, hear more in music, and experience the magic of a chorus. Adults and kids over 8 who love to sing are welcome. There are easy parts for beginners and solo opportunities for experienced singers.

Seeking anyone who enjoys making music with their mouth like Bobby McFerrin. Do you sing, whistle, or beat box? Actual instruments are NOT needed, but skilled musicians are still welcome. I hope to unite a mix of interesting people and styles for a recording and performance project. Most beat box is like rap or pop beats, so maybe we can take it to a new level with big band classics or jazz standards. I would value any feedback so we can get this group started. Thank you ~Gino Jazz

The East Bay Singers Group would sing a capella and accompanied music. I am imagining the ensemble performing a variety of styles and perhaps some choreographed movement that might be appropriate to the style of music (not complex dancing, in other words, so no worries!). My goal would be to put together …
